While in law school, Nguyen clerked at the Equal Employment and Opportunity Commission and the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office. She was also part of the founding class of the Northern California Innocence Project, a wrongful conviction clinic at Santa Clara University, and its volunteer coordinator in Spring 2001.

Cristina K. Olivella, Esq.

Olivella's practice focuses primarily on the representation of management in the defense of labor and employment matters, including claims regarding wage and hour laws, discrimination and harassment, and compliance with the National Labor Relations Act. She also has experience in health- and safety-related workplace issues, specifically Cal-OSHA matters. Prior to joining the firm, Olivella was associated with the Department of Homeland Security for Lockheed Martin Corporation. She handled Equal Employment Opportunity matters in the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties of the Department of Homeland Security. During law school, Olivella was a litigation law clerk in the Office of Chief Counsel for the Transportation Security Administration.

Schmidt has practiced labor and employment law for over 30 years and currently is the Chair of the Labor & Employment Department at Parker, Milliken, Clark, O'Hara & Samuelian, PC. He specializes in the areas of employment, discrimination, wage and hour, labor, executive compensation, and unfair competition law advising foreign, national, and local employers of all sizes, including many small and medium-sized banking institutions.
