Being a great boss does not come naturally to most people—and it requires a great deal more than simply telling other people what to do. Many managers have had poor role models over the years. Others simply lack the necessary skills.

Join us on June 25—and bring your supervisors along—for an in-depth audio conference all about making the transition from management to true leadership. Our speaker, an experienced HR consultant, will explain how to capitalize on your skills to become a highly effective, respected boss.

  • The skills required of great leaders at work—and how to cultivate them
  • How to build and maintain key employee relationships
  • The best way to get results without alienating your subordinates
  • The single most critical role in "boss-dom"—and why it matters so much
  • Common mistakes made by management, and how to avoid them
  • How to develop the tools you need and utilize them effectively
  • Tips for bringing out the very best in your workers
  • Strategies that you can use right away to improve your leadership
